5. Jan 1, 2021. #1. Hello, I have a MSI Z370 Tomahawk Motherboard and the front usb ports won´t work as usb 3.0 only as 2.0. If I connect a usb drive 2.0, it works. If i connect the a usb 3.0 won´t work. If i connect the usb 3.0 with a usb Extension Cable 2.0 it works. If I connect the usb 3.0 in I/O-panel usb 3.0 ports it works. usb 3.0 ports not working on Inspiron 17R 7720. I have an Inspiron 17R 7720 laptop.
